Detail in $8 Big W Christmas buy shoppers are losing it over

It’s only September but if you want to get your hands on the most popular Christmas decorations, you better head to the shops now.
The $8 Mirabella sausage dog battery operated wire lights from Big W is currently causing a frenzy online after a dog owner shared her love for the product in a Tiktok video, describing it as the “ultimate Big W find”.
“Just got these from Big W, cute little sausage dog Christmas lights,” she said turning them on before showing them to her dog, “Oooooh, does it looks like Rupert?”

Shoppers who saw the TikTok were instantly obsessed with the product declaring they “need them” or have already bought a pack.
“Oh I need a black version for my Gizzy,” a dog owner said.
“Running to BIG W,’ wrote a TikToker.
“I need these immediately!” commented one.
“Already purchased 4 boxes HAHAHAHAHA,” another said to which the woman who posted the video said, “Same”.
The sausage dog lights feature a warm white light that glows from the dog’s chest and is made Christmassy by the Santa hat on each pooch’s head.
According to the product description the lights are 1.9 metres in length, require AA batteries and are only for indoor use.

Dachshunds are becoming a popular motif for both Christmas decorations and homewares in general.
Big W also sells a sausage dog-themed nightlight, plant pot, oven mitt and apron.
Other stores in the dachshund Christmas spirit are Pillow talk with a beaded hanging decoration, while Adairs has plates, a cushion cover and tea towels.

While Big W has plenty of cute Christmas products in stores, the retailer has also just launched its spring/summer homewares collection.
The new Openook and Brilliant Basics ranges include quilt cover sets, vases, cushions, lamps and throws.
Inspiration for the new products comes from everyday Aussie life, which you’ll see in the more neutral and natural toned pieces, and retro trends, which have led to bright pops of pink, purple and blue with curvy shapes and abstract patterns.
